The pathology results from your surgery should be available within one week after your surgery. Follow-up appointments to discuss the pathology results and examine the operative site are generally made by your nurse before you leave the hospital or surgery center. Call the Carolina Breast & Oncologic Surgery office to confirm your appointment or if you do not have one or do not remember it.
THE PATHOLOGY RESULTS ARE USUALLY NOT DISCUSSED OVER THE TELEPHONE.
